I feel funny

I can't wait for my u/s tomorrow! (optimism anyone?)

Actually, I feel like I'm having a cramp. Why should I feel crampy now? Is this normal? The pain doesn't feel like my ovaries (not that my ovaries haven't been communicating with me in their own way lately, which probably doesn't mean a thing, lying bitches). It kinda feel little like gas, but I'm not sure what I ate to cause it if that's the case. I'm quite sure it has more to do with the reproductive organs at this point.

I hope this crampy feeling is good. It kinda freaks me out that maybe Dr. C was right and I shouldn't have done 150mg. But I have to keep reminding myself that it is nearly impossible to actually hyperstimulate on clomid, right?

1 follicle=great
2 follicles=still good
3+ follicles=soiled pants

So three follicles isn't exactly hyperstimulating, but it would definitely cause some unwanted side effects over here.

Given my history I may be getting a bit ahead of myself here. PCOS sucks... you always have to worry about not ovulating or overdoing it and in the meanwhile you're popping zits and plucking out stray hairs here and there.

I'm not sure if I missed the post, but why did Dr. C say you should do 150mg? Clomid + Met works for so many women with PCOS. As for overstimming, it could happen with Clomid, but it's not likely because Clomid works on the brain. It's just helping to up your own hormones, not like with the FSH shots, those work right on the ovaries. I did Clomid at 100mg and it didn't do a thing, it was the Gonal-F I overstimmed on. So we'll just try something different next cycle. There are options! Hang in there!

Just in case, drink plenty of water with lemon. Which should straighten you right out. If you can stand it, put a slice of fresh lemon in your cup and then pour boiling water over it to make a "tea".

Good luck tomorrow!

Wishing you luck tomorrow! Hopefully it's just your nerves getting the best of you.

Hey Celia, why does that work? It kinda sounds tasty.

I don't think you need to worry about 3+, although you're right, PCOS is very unpredictable. But I hope you have one or two gorgeous follicles brewing in there.

The lemon water makes you pee more than regular water. When I am in detox mode I drink a cup of hot water with lemon every morning first thing. It really helps with water retention.

I learned it from Gilliam McKeith, the You Are What You Eat lady.
