3 things

1. Happy PCOS awareness month! (Who knew?)

2. Michael had his ear re-check today, and guess who still has an ear infection?! I got in with another Dr. in the group that a coworker recommended. I like her SO much better than the jerk we've been seeing. Michael spit up a little while we were there and I mentioned that he was a spitter and she said that research has actually found that stomach acid can get up the eustation tubes and causes ear infections so spitters have higher rates of ear infections. That's a little interesting, and gross.

3. I have two very bad kitties. If they weren't so cute....

I had no idea there was a PCOS awareness month! You'd think after living with it for 10 years, I would've known :-)

Cute kitties!

Hey, I read in a magazine that two cups of spearmint tea can help lower progesterone levels ( helloo pcos hair) Have you heard that?

Nope, I haven't heard that one.

Do you think it said that the 2 cups of tea lowered testosterone instead of progesterone? Progesterone is usually already lacking for us cysters. But I'd stay away from it while breastfeeding because I think too much peppermint can affect supply (so maybe spearmint does too).

I went googling and found this article: http://www.healthyfellow.com/290/mint-tea-warning/

Aww I hope the ear infections let up soon. Have they started talking about tubes at all yet?
My brother had lots of ear infections, was also a big time spitter, and ended up with tubes twice before things got under control.
The kitties are so cute!!!

That's crazy about spitters and ear infections...hopefully this doc will figure out M's issues and get him better!

Sorry about the ear infection-I, too, have heard that spitters have more ear infections. My girls are spitters and at the advice of my acupuncturist, I dab a little apple cider vinegar in their ears once a week. (Just on the end of a q-tip)
They haven't had an ear infection since 5 months old. Even with two colds in the mean time... Maybe it's all in my head, but I'm not going to quit doing it!!

Your cats are so f-ing cute! I could just eat them up. I can't believe they curl up together like that! How are they doing with the baby?
